Since 2006, Zentel took responsibility for all other manufacturing steps from design to quality assurance of packaged chips and focused on global sales in the DRAM markets for consumer, communications, industrial and automotive electronics. In 2009, the company was first certified to ISO9001:2008 / ISO14001:2004, and in the following years developed a full range of standard SDRAM ICs from 64Mb SDR versions to 8Gb DDR4 as Zentel Japan Corporation, with DRAM chip design in Japan and production in Taiwan with Powerchip Technology Corporation as process development partner and Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation as exclusive wafer foundry.
As a reliable supplier of older and newer generations of SDRAM ICs, Zentel also continues to pioneer Row-Hammer-protected DDR3 versions, which have been proven to safely prevent system disruption, spying, and network hijacking via infected websites by exploiting a DRAM-typical hardware weakness through integrated trapping circuitry.
